I guess I'm pretty strongly suggesting that the service manual is as wrong as. ![]() I would guess that the 0.83 ratio of a 3.40 rear gear would give a 2.82 final drive ratio, to be consistent with Car and Driver, and also Dodge reported it wrong, not as a final drive ratio, but as a rear end gear, but if so, it would be a 3.40 not 3.55. 2006 DODGE CHARGER RT RIMS RACING DRIVERWhat is it? So compression increased a little, and hp and torque decreased, as well as their peak points, and final drive ratio decreased considerably? WTF? Glad I got a 2006.
